Questions and answers

dry stack marina boat handling forklift

Do the handlings spoil the boats?

No. The racks and sporklifts we use are specifically designed for the dry stack marinas needs.
There are two adjustable horns on our forklifts which make the handlings more sure and precise. Our teams are trained to handle the boats with caution.

Can I use my boat when I want?

Yes. Your boat is available 7 days a week all the year, days and nights. You just have to call our marina before, so that our team removes the boat from the rack to launch it and get it ready to the pontoon for your arrival. However, the launch in some of our marinas depends on the tides.
If you want to use your boat by night, you call our marina as usual so that your boat will be at the pontoon when the marina is closed. If you come back by night, you just have to leave your boat at the pontoon: the team will lift it out the water, rinse the hull and the engine before returning the boat to the racks.

Do I have to pay for the launch?

No. Our tariffs include unlimited launches all the year round.

Is there a maintenance area?

Yes. All our marinas have a maintenance area: we can move your boat to the area and put it on cradles on your demand so that you can do what you want on your boat. You will find water and electricity at your disposal on each area.

Can you advise me if I have something to repair on my boat?

Yes. The work can be made by one of our partners on your demand; we can organize and supervise the work to be sure that the maintenance or repair is well done.

Is the maintenance cheaper and easier?

Yes. Storing your boat in our dry stack means no more anti-fouling, no more electrical problems due to dampness, no more osmosis and no need to the anodes each year. Moreover, as we rinse the hull and engine each time we lift the boat out of the water, you won’t have to worry about corrosion. More generally speaking, boats stored in racks need less maintenance and less investment.

My boat is stored in your Paimpol dry stack marina and I plan to spend my holiday in Leucate. Can I bring my boat with me and store it in your Leucate dry stack marina during my holiday?

Yes. Our service includes the possibility to store your boat in the marina of your choice, when you want and as long as you want without additional fees. If needed, we can even organise the transport of your boat from a marina to the other.

Do you plan to open more dry stack marinas?

Yes. We have many projects all over the French coasts, in partnership with the French Territorial Collectivities. Our goal is to open 15 dry stack marinas which will represent 5 000 places. Thank you for telling us where you need to store your boat and we will inform you if we open a dry stack marina.

What kind of boat do you welcome?

We welcome all kind of motor boat (in board, out board, open….) up to 8.50 metres long, 3 metres beam and 3 tons. If your boat is a little bigger, please contact us to see if we are able to welcome your boat in our marinas.

Does the activity of the marinas depend on the tide?

Some of our marinas have to deal with tides. However, thanks to the location of our marinas, the constraints linked to the tide do not impede the launch. Please contact us to get more information.
