Sustainable development

Our dry stack marinas have been established in accordance with the sustainable development principles. Our aim is to meet boat owners needs while preserving the environment.
No antifouling
Each year, the boat owners paint the hull of their boats with these toxic paints, first to limit the damages caused by marine organisms on the hull, and secondly to improve the hydrodynamics of the boat by preventing the accumulation of algae on the hull. These antifouling paints contain many biocide components which come away from the paint bit by bit in order to be more efficient. In addition, lots of boat owners strip these paints without observing the rules or normative requirements.
In Port Adhoc marinas, these antifouling paints are useless since the boat is stored out of the sea, which means that our customers both save money (between 200 and 500€ per year) and protect the environment.
Antifouling paint flakes left on the floor after scraping of the hull.

No oil pollution
In spite of the boat and engine watertightness, some oil leak can happen. If a boat stays in water, it is merely impossible to see any leak, you will have to wait for the yearly boat maintenance (or the antifouling paint) which require to lift the boat out of the water before noticing the leak.
In our dry stack marinas, the oil leaks are immediately noticed: the boat can be repaired very quickly, so that the pollution is limited.
Moreover our marinas are equipped to collect waters (mostly from rains and rinsing) which can be cleaned thanks to degreasing tanks in order to prevent from any pollution.
Save space
The French coast is a limited zone shared between different activities: seaside resort, water sports, fishing…which makes it very rare and valuable. To save space is now a real stake for all the local authorities and companies which have to deal with this issue and their own development.
The number of boats stored in Port Adhoc dry stack marinas is currently between 3 and 4 times as much as in-water marinas (over the same surface).
