Port Médoc

With an inner basin of 15 hectares, between 2 and 3 meters draft, this stopover protected from the waves through a reinforced dike will seduce you with its easy access and tranquility. The marina

Boaters are very close to the lighthouse of Cordouan (5 miles), La Rochelle (60 miles) or Arcachon (70 miles). River navigation will allow them also to get to Bordeaux and discover the islands of the estuary.

Heading offshore

Cordouan, ‘the lighthouse of the Kings’, erected on its island, watches over large ships and sailboats that cross into the blue that separates the coast. Beyond, the Arvert peninsula and the islands of Oléron and Ré will punctuate trips with nautical freedom and discovery.

The Gironde Estuary

With a navigation basin of 350 km2, its ports and its wild islands, the Gironde Estuary is an exceptional space of sheer exploration for boaters. Estuarine navigation offers the sailor many pleasures and landscapes.

Landward side

Port Médoc combines peace and quiet at the edge of the forest estate of the Pointe de Grave, starting point of 100 kilometres of bicycle lanes.
