Cordouan lighthouse « le phare des rois » standing on its island is watching over the large vessels and sailing ships that are passing by on the great blue ocean. Further away, the Arvert peninsula and the Oleron and Re Islands are punctuating your boat trips mixing nautical liberty and exploration pleasures.
With its 350 square kilometres of navigable waterways, its marinas and preserved islands, the Gironde estuary is an exceptional exploration area for boaters. Estuarine navigation offers as much joys to sailors as variety of landscapes.

Near to the ocean, well protected with an excellent draught. Free Wi-Fi, numerous sanitary installations which are in perfect condition. Easy access parking area facing the pontoons. Services and excellent and friendly assistance… A great travelift pilot you can trust in for high-risk vessels.
A wonderful port situated in an exceptional environment. Enough space to manoeuvre which is quite rare and so enjoyable. Pleasant headmaster, always available and a priceless peacefulness! Very useful: supply points are only a few clicks away by bike.
We enjoy coming to Port-Médoc every year! The harbour manager has made great efforts in modernising the port: new renovated battens, nice event management, etc. “La Vigie” is a great initiative where you can get tips & tricks or find a helping hand.
