Flevo Sails is also specialised in the production of covers and canvas work, as well as the repair and maintenance of rigging and sails.
What makes Flevo Sails unique is that we combine our sailmaking and rigging services. This allows us to coordinate the entire process on deck. We carry out all repairs at our base, but we also come aboard your boat. Additionally, we produce winter covers and offer sail and cover washing services.
Your complete rigging and canvas work is in expert hands with us. From the smallest component to the entire project: we’re happy to take care of it for you.
Yacht Sails

We come aboard to take measurements of your rigging. Based on that, our suppliers will design the sail for you. This ensures the best possible propulsion for your yacht. We are passionate cruising and racing sailors, and together with you, we’ll provide the best advice.

Canvas Work
Flevo Sails has built a great reputation in the field of bimini tops, spray hoods, and canvas work.
A model that fits your boat, made with attention to detail and perfectly finished. Compare our products with those of other sailmakers and you will see how our sailmakers excel. As one of the few sailmakers, we fold the front seams in. This has the great advantage for fabric covers that the fabric won’t fray. Even after washing, the seam remains neat and tight. Rigging
Flevo Sails supplies complete rigging for both small and large yachts.
We provide and install masts, booms, and roller reefing systems from renowned brands. Expertise, good advice, the best materials, and the latest equipment: the essential ingredients for rigging that’s BUILT TO LAST.
For supplying and maintaining forestay profiles from brands like Furlex, Profurl, and Facnor, we are your go-to address. We also keep repair parts for many Furlex types in stock.
We supply new masts from Seldén, Master Masts, Neutmast, and Sparcraft.
At Flevo Sails, you can also rely on us for mast trimming. Our riggers assess your deck layout and are happy to suggest ways to make sail handling easier.
Additionally, we offer stainless steel wire. We can custom-make wire for your boat and swage terminals to new stays up to 12 mm.
It’s essential that your lifejackets, liferafts, and fire extinguishers are inspected regularly, typically every 3 years.
We are happy to take care of this for you. We work with certified inspection stations, ensuring your equipment is properly inspected.
Drop off your items for inspection at the end of the boating season, and we will ensure they are certified for the upcoming season.
Is your raft, lifejacket, or extinguisher due for inspection? Bring it to us, and we’ll handle the rest.
Lines
Henri Lancelin Ropes from France produces both boat lines and industrial ropes.
Since January 2016, Flevo Sails has held the exclusive dealership for Lancelin ropes on the east side of the IJssel and Markermeer. We chose Lancelin for its excellent quality and high level of innovation. Lancelin, the importer, and we work with a unique colour scheme for halyards and sheets, so each line on board has a base colour, making it very easy to identify. Lancelin also offers many options for lines with specific colour combinations. Our riggers are happy to custom-make your new lines and provide them with strong, secure splicing.
You can use this high-quality ropework for halyards, sheets, trim lines, and mooring lines.
At Flevo Sails, we also offer stainless steel wire. We can custom-make wire for your boat and swage terminals to new stays up to 12 mm.

Damage Repair
One address for all damage repair services
Damage to polyester boats is usually caused by a collision or grounding. Repairing damage with polyester, epoxy, carbon, or Kevlar is specialist work. In addition to extensive experience and product knowledge, we also have expertise in construction and laminate schedules with the corresponding strength calculations and vacuum methods.
When repairing damage, it’s important to look at the cause of the damage. Why, for example, did the laminate fail? Consider broken rudder blades, keel foundations, engine mounts, carbon masts, or spinnaker poles. Is it overloaded or not strong/stiff enough, and does the construction need to be adjusted?
A collision repair doesn’t simply mean making the boat watertight again. We believe that a repair should no longer be noticeable later; everything must be finished perfectly. This applies to both the structural part and, for example, the colour of the gel coat/paint system or the repaired non-slip decking.

Spot Repair
The times have changed, and technology has advanced. We are proud to announce that we have equipment that allows us to scan the colour of a boat. The device we use tells us exactly how to achieve the correct colour for your boat. Your boat no longer needs to be fully repainted for a few scratches – we will work on the spot locally. This method yields stunning results and is much quicker and more affordable than before!
